Walking  and  Cycling

Haye Farm is not only an ideal location for the beaches or the town of Lyme Regis, but a fantastic  base for some beautiful walks.

The Wessex Ridgeway and the Liberty Trail both pass through our  land or you can pick up the nearby South West coastal path and discover the amazing  Jurassic coast line.

As we allow pets in some of our cottages, Haye Farm has proved very popular with dog owners. Many of whom come back on a regular basis, even if it is just for a short break in the winter. As well as the walks, we have 20 acres of land for the dogs ( and the owners! ) to exercise on.

In an increasing busy, noisy and polluted world, many people find a certain peacefulness at  Haye Farm. We have a small chapel where you can sit in    solitude, prayer or meditation. This is where you can regain your strength,  balance and inner peace.

What a better way to start the day than trying our fresh free range eggs. You are welcome to collect the freshly laid eggs each morning.

Here are some cattle grazing on the unspoilt pasture at Haye Farm. Many people like to visit in the spring when the fields are beautifully carpeted with many species of wild flowers including orchids. The pasture has remained the same for  generations, escaping from modern farming techniques.

On your visit to Haye Farm you will see an abundance of wild life including buzzards,  woodpeckers, rabbits and if you are lucky a kingfisher on the river. There are also deer that are  spotted on a regular basis, which are a fascinating sight ( until they cheekily come in to our  garden and eat all of our flowers!!)

Here is one of the wild orchids growing on our pasture, Bumpy hill.
